When your baby is in the NICU, every day feels like an emotional marathon. You’re surrounded by machines, doctors, and endless updates. You run on hope, fear, and caffeine.
And then one day — the discharge papers come. You finally get to bring your baby home. Everyone celebrates. The world assumes the hardest part is over.
But you know better.
Because while your baby comes home, a part of you stays behind in the NICU.
The Silent Struggle After the NICU
No one really prepares you for what happens next — the emotional crash that comes after survival mode ends. You suddenly have more space to breathe, but your heart still feels heavy.
You might find yourself thinking things like:
• “Why do I still feel anxious? We’re finally home.”
• “Why does no one seem to understand what we’ve been through?”
• “Why can’t I feel normal again?”
Life after the NICU moves fast — appointments, medications, milestones, medical forms. You do it all because you love your child. But deep down, you may wonder where you went in the process.
Why I Created Path to Peace Coaching
I know this space intimately.
After 290 days in the NICU and PICU with my son, I realized that the hardest part wasn’t just surviving the hospital — it was learning how to live again after it.
The NICU changes you. It changes how you think, how you feel, how you move through the world. But it doesn’t have to steal your peace, joy, or identity.
That’s why I created Path to Peace Coaching — a gentle, 4-session private program for NICU and medical moms who are ready to make peace with a story they never planned and rediscover themselves in the process.
Through reflection, mindset tools, and emotional support, we work together to:
• Heal from the emotional weight of your NICU experience
• Rebuild daily rhythms that nurture peace and balance
• Reconnect with who you are beyond caregiving
• Cultivate peace that lasts — no matter what life brings next
Because peace isn’t about pretending everything is okay — it’s about learning how to live fully even when things are still hard.
Coaching, Not Therapy
It’s important to know that Path to Peace Coaching is not therapy. While therapy focuses on processing trauma and treating mental health concerns, coaching helps you move forward — applying practical tools and creating new patterns for your daily life.
My approach blends my background as a social worker with my lived experience as a NICU mom. I meet you where you are — helping you build emotional strength, clarity, and rhythm one step at a time.
My goal isn’t to replace therapy — it’s to walk alongside it, giving you the space and support to grow, reflect, and rebuild with intention.
You Deserve Peace, Too
Motherhood after the NICU is complex — full of joy, fear, and everything in between. But even in the chaos, peace is still possible.
You don’t have to carry it all alone.
You can find balance again.
You can rebuild your rhythm.
You can learn to breathe — not out of relief, but out of peace.
Your child’s story didn’t end at discharge — and neither did yours.
If you’re ready to discover what peace can look like in your life now, I’d love to walk with you.
